Your clinical input

What's your area of clinical interest?

The CCG is keen to involve all of its GP members in commissioning projects and would like to hear from those who have a specialist interest, experience or skills that they can bring to service development and redesign - particularly newly-qualified GPs and locums who may be looking for opportunities to provide clinical expertise.

Increased clinical input is a key part of our commissioning strategy and involving local doctors in our work streams and planning will ensure that services are more responsive to patient need and ensure increased quality and clinical effectiveness.

Our strategic priorities cover mental health, cancer, long-term conditions, frail older people, children/young adults/students and urgent care. If you have a specialist interest in any of the above or could contribute to any other aspect of commissioned services we’d love to hear from you. To get more involved in a particular area of the CCG’s work, or to find out about current projects that need clinical support, please email Maria Principe, Director of Primary Care Development and Service Integration, at This email address is being protected from spambots.
