Our People’s Council help to shape our engagement programmes by advising on how best to involve different communities in the work we do. It is made up of members of the public who are supported as ‘patient leaders’ and representatives from voluntary and community sector organisations. We aim to have a People’s Council that is representative of the City and its health needs.
People’s Council members are recruited based on their ability to represent a community in the city or based on their experience of health or care issues.
The Council meets every other month and is chaired by the CCG’s Lay Member for Patient and Public Involvement and Equalities.
We are currently developing our People's Council, once finalised our members' profiles will appear here.
